Sharon Vernice Simons

The homegoing service of Mrs. Sharon Vernice Simons [nee Davis]; beloved wife of H. W. McNeil Simons; and daughter of the late Cecily Davis, will be held at St. Mary’s Church, Middle Road, Warwick on Friday, November 22, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
The visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday evening, November 21, 2024, from 6:00 to 7:30 pm, at Amis Memorial Chapel, Khyber Pass, Warwick. Mrs. Simons of #7 Park Hill, Warwick WK 05, passed away in her 95th year. She was the loving mother of Denton [Cindy] Simons, Mark [Shameela] Simons, and Paul [Duda] Simons.
She is lovingly survived by grandchildren: Omar Simons, Miyoh Simons [Marianne], Jason Simons [Jennifer], Trevor Simons, Morgan Simons, Cydeny Simons, Edward Simons, and Patrick Simons; great-grandchildren: Jaida, Jordon, Miyoh Jr., and Jace; nieces and nephews Sheena Notter [Rene’], Wayne Fox, Leo Fox [deceased], Andrea Peets [Franklyn], Robin Smith [deceased], Dennison Smith [deceased], Renall Caisey [Allen], Keith Davis, Michelle DeSilve [Don], Camille Hayward [Dean], Mylan Simons [Darleene], Maria James [David], Aaron Patterson [USA], Alan Patterson [USA]. She is also survived by numerous other family members and friends. Special thanks to her goddaughter Sandra Thornhill, the entire St. Mary’s Church family, Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority and members of the Hibiscus Club for their love and support. Mrs. Simons was predeceased by her siblings: Cora Fox, Iris Smith and Randall Davis.
