A Homegoing service for Mr. Shirley Granville Gibbons, beloved husband to Gardine Gibbons, loving father to Elizabeth Roque and Granville Gibbons [Susan], loving stepfather to Charmaine Haydel [USA], Aaron Haydel [USA] and Donald Haydel Jr. [USA], in his 93rd year of 18 Secretary Lane, St. Georges, will be held at St. Peter’s Church, St. Georges, Today, June 15, 2023 at 2:00 pm.
Interment will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
There will be no viewing.
Lovingly survived by grandchildren: Chante’ Dowling [Corey], Severun Nicole Gibbons, Chloe Thain, Dionte Thain and Donavin Trott [Mary]; great grandchildren: Kimari Burchall, SaadeBurchall, Cayli Dowling, Cyme Dowling, Caca Dowling, Tre Tucker, Jason Wendell Richardson Jr., Susan Naomi Richardson; niece: Carolyn Welch [Vincent]; nephew: Carlton Welch [Maxine]; special friends: Montgomery Family, The Tucker family, The Oatley Family, The Roberts Family.
Shirley was predeceased by his mother and father Wallen [Penny] and Ada Gibbons; brother: Johnny Gibbons; sister: Joan Gibbons, Barbara Welch [Clarence]; nephew: Eddie Welch.
