A Homegoing service for Shirley “Cheryl” “Shirl” Lodge nee Butterfield, wife of the late Cleveland Winslow Lodge, daughter of the late Marion Butterfield and Bruce LeRoy Wade, loving mother to Delphina Lodge [Alan], Lindsay Lodge and LeRoy Burgess, sister to Hilgrove Butterfield, Joseph Butterfield, Maxwell Butterfield [Shirley], James “Jimmy” Butterfield, Enith Butterfield, Rosemarie Cameron and the late Sylvia Richardson, in her 73rdyear of 9 Bob’s Valley Lane, Sandys, will be held at The Hamilton Seventh Day Adventist Church on Sunday, January 25, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be held today from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm at Augustus Funeral Home, Orchid Chapel.
Interment to follow at St. James Cemetery.
Lovingly survived by grandchildren: Zadyn and Halo-Zayluhn Daniels; special son: Kirk Gardener;

Shirley was predeceased by grandson: Clevonte’ Lodge-Bean; nieces: Latasha-Ann Saunders, Roseann Cameron; godson: Jahmal Mallory; best friends: Kent Phillips and Roger Francis.
Out of respect for the family, guests are kindly asked Not To Wear T-shirts, of any kind. Colors to be worn, with a hint of leopard print.
