Bulley-Graham-Rawlins Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Silvino Furtado in his 87th year of Paget Parish, loving husband of Maria Fatima Furtado, beloved father of Jesse [Sandra], John [Elizabeth], Lucy [Elias], Gloria [Michael], and Lisa. Silvino is also survived by his grandchildren, Jordan, Michelle, Maegan, Miranda, Jacob, Mackenzie, Ashlee, Tyler, Hailey, and Lucas. He is also survived by his sister Cecilia Melo [in the Acores] and was predeceased by his brother Silverio Furtado, as well as his brothers-in-law John Daniel and Joao Melo, and sister-in-law Antonieta Silva. He leaves behind many other family and friends both in Bermuda and abroad.
The funeral service will be held at St. Theresa’s Roman Catholic Church, Cedar Avenue, Hamilton, on Tuesday, 28th of April 2026. The Rosary will be read at 2:00 pm, followed by the Funeral Mass at 2:30 pm. The interment will follow immediately after the Mass at Holy Calvary Cemetery, Roberts Avenue, Devonshire.
