It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. St. Clair Vallis O’Brien, loving husband of the late Joycelyn ‘Sophie’ O’Brien, son of the late Jonathan and Florence O’Brien [nee Lavarock], beloved father to daughters Claire Lightbourne and Florence Marva-Jean O’Brien, sons Delroy O’Brien, Dennis O’Brien [Carlita], and Robin Munroe in his 95th year of 14 Foothills Road, Devonshire.  Funeral services will be held at the Hamilton Seventh-day Adventist Church, King Street, Hamilton on Sunday, April 10, 2022 at 12:00 p.m.  Interment will follow at The Christ Church Cemetery, Devonshire.  Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at the Augustus Funeral Home’s Rose Chapel, Today, April 9, 2022 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Sunday at the Hamilton Seventh-day Adventist Church from 11:00 a.m. to 11:50 a.m.

Leaving to cherish a host of memories are his sister-in-law Novia June Bridgers, granddaughter Keisha Lockhart [Dwayne], grandsons Masen O’Brien, Silverio Munroe and Micah O’Brien, and great-granddaughter Maya Williams.  Nephews Archie, Leon and David O’Brien.  Nieces Linda O’Brien, Margaret Murray and special niece Patricia Caines and family, special cousin Muriel Nusum.  Godchildren Judy Anderson, Graham Benjamin, Judy Emery, Kent Simons, Collins Smith, Gavin Swan, and the late Maurice Ming and Stephen Smith.  Caregiver Shirley Wallen [Sam].  Lovingly remembered by the Leverock family, Helen Benjamin and family, Greta Furbert and family, Junior Raynor and family, Sheila Conyers and family, Mary Jacobs and family, Kingsley Simmons, Sr. and family, Easton family, White family, Wolffe family, Reginald Monish and family, Patricia Parris and family, Delores Price and family, Tracy Astwood and family, Mimi Rouja and family, Bean family, Spence family, Fred Ming, Andre Greene, Treamae Smith [Disney], Gina Munroe,  Dianne Coddington, Maxine Smith, Khio and Kaje Taylor, Dr. Elaine Hodgson, his Loyal Hill Community Family, the Pembroke Community Club, PCC Terpsichorean Dance Club, the Whitney School family, and numerous relatives and friends too many to mention.
