Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Stanford Junior Hart of Mount Hill, Pembroke, in his 90th year, husband of the late Ursula Hart [nee Tucker], son of the late Stanley and Olive Hart, beloved father of Kevin Hart, Beverly Cann [Noel], and Lauren Bell [Coolridge]. Lovingly remembered by grandchildren Justin Cann [Carla], Ciara Bell, Shannon Cann and Cameron Bell; great-grandchild Theodore Cielecki-Cann; brother to Marion Tannock, Maxwell “Keible” Hart, Violet Tucker and Derrick Hart; brother-in-law Melvin Gibbons; sisters-in-law Eunice and Dawnette Hart; uncles Edmund “Eddie” Fox and Edward Leslie Trott; the Tucker Family; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Stanford will also be fondly remembered by the Mount Hill Family, the St. Paul AME Family, the Butterfield Bank Family, the Colonial Insurance Family and members of the Alexandrina Lodge, No. 1026. Stanford was predeceased by siblings Eldridge “Pop” Smith, Ashton “Buster” Smith, Lionel Hart, Carolyn Gibbons, Lorraine Tait and Barbara Hunt.
The Celebration of Life service will be held at St Paul AME Church on January 6, 2023, at 1 pm. Interment will immediately follow at St John’s Church Cemetery, Pembroke. Colors may be worn. Viewing will be held at Augustus Funeral Home on Thursday, January 5, 2023, from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. The service will be livestreamed via Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/stpaulamebermuda/
