Thelma Marie Smy
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Thelma Marie [Burgess] Smy, beloved wife of the late Peter Smy and loving mother to Dennis Burgess [Charmaine], Michael Burgess [Dawn] and the late Ramon Burgess in her 91st year of #6 Astwood Road, Paget DV 04.
A funeral service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, 13th February, 2021 at 11:00am at the New Testament Church of God, Heritage Worship Centre, Dundonald Street, Hamilton. Interment to follow at St. John’s Cemetery.
She leaves to cherish her memory grandchildren: Sabrina Daniels, Jermaine, Damael, Nicole, Aaron, Tywaun, Christen, Amanda, Kameron, Kioshi and Christopher Burgess; great grandchildren: Ajai, Qusae-e, Nasiya, Saniya, Micah, Zhavia, Tristan, Mylo-Harper and Kairi; siblings: Oriel Peterson, Cynthia Thomas, Ilys Davis [Hilton], Gerald Lawrence [Shirley], Jacquelyn Joell [Darius] and Frederick Lawrence [Joycelyn]. She was predeceased by siblings Cleveland Lawrence, Earlston “Scratchie” Lawrence, David Lawrence [Joyce-deceased], Carolyn Robinson [Arnold], Winifred Smith [Gary-deceased] and Ronald Lawrence [Hilda], other dear relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
