It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Anthony Forster [Tony] of Yorkshire, UK, formerly a resident of Bermuda, in his 79th year. He leaves behind his loving wife, Ruth, sons Andrew and Simon, grandchildren Charlie, Jasper, and Jovi, sister Gill Butterfield [Tom], niece Nicolette Reiss, nephew Jonathan Reiss [Britt], special friend Anita Parry, and many other friends in Bermuda.
Tony left a legacy in Bermuda as he started the Eliza Doolittle Society with Margaret Vaucrosson, and he raised the funds for the new copper roof for the Cathedral. He continued working for the homeless when he returned to England. Tony was passionate about theatre and poetry and, along with Ruth, gave much of his time to the BMDS.
