Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Valerie O’Neal Hayward of 26 Mill Reach Lane, Pembroke HM05 in her 73rd year.
Valerie was the beloved wife of the late David Hayward; daughter of the late Thelma and Edward Harris, She is lovingly remembered by her children Wendy Morris, Candice DeSouza [Frederico] and Crystal Ribeiro [Davino], special daughter Dawn Wenger; grandchildren Brandon Morris, Najee and Jelani DeSouza and Izabel Ribeiro; siblings, Junior [Bubba] Harris, Gerald Harris [Beatrice], Ronald Harris [Delores], Sheila Smith [Bob deceased], Gloria-Jean Hayward [Winslow deceased] and Philip Harris [Ernestine]; nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters in law, special friends Katrina Caines, Muriel Jones, Paula Butterfield and numerous other family and friends. Valerie was predeceased by her sisters June Harris, Vilma Nelson Stokes, and her brother Dennis Harris.
A graveside homegoing service will be held for Valerie, Today, February 26, 2022, at 11am at the Pembroke Cemetery.
In keeping with Covid-19 restrictions attendees should adhere to social distancing guidelines. Color may be worn. The family would like to express gratitude for your expressions of kindness.
The family will take this time to reflect on their loved one, therefore, there will be no wake.
