Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of: – Violet [Vi] Priscilla Charves [Easton],
A Homegoing service for A Home going ceremony for Violet [Vi] Priscilla Charves [Easton], beloved wife of Charles E. Charves Sr. [Sonny], loving mother of Charlene Charves and the late Charles E Charves Jr, daughter of the late William and Alice Easton [nee Woolridge], in her 94th year of 102 South Road, Smith’s, will be held today, 6th July at 2:00 pm at St Mark’s Church.
Interment will follow at St. Mark’s Church Cemetery Smith’s Parish.
There will be no viewing.
She is loving remembered by grandchildren Erica Charves Paterson [Cornell], Tyrese Charves, adopted grandchildren Terry, Tjada, Ganzy West, Joe Matthews, Marcus Astwood, great grandson Jordan Paterson. Daughter-in-law Maurice Charves, Brother Stuart Easton, Brothers-in-law Vincent Chaves Sr., Carl [Mickey] Hutchins, Johnnie Marshall, sisters-in-law Gloria Easton, Marie Chaves
Nieces – Pamela Smith, Constance Jiminez [Brian], Deborah Easton, Lesley Boone [Todd], Tracey and Zena Marshall, Sinamaye, Shawnette, Juanita Easton, Paulette Hamming, Carla Chaves, Leola Stovell, Joanne Talbot Johnston, Queenie Stovell, Deborah and Margaret Trott, Tessa Douglas. Nephews – Gregory Smith, Allan Butterfield, Michael Easton, Edward Hutchins, Vincent Chaves Jr., Tyrone and Lewis Stovell, Leroy and Phillip Trott, Albert Harvey ,Aunt- Lucille Woolridge. Godsons – Sydney Lee, Quinton Burch.Special Friends – The Jones Family, The Darrell Families, The Astwood Family, The Davidson Family, The Harvey Family, Jane Simons, Muriel Nusum, Lay Woolf, Lucy Davis, Frances Baker, St. Mark’s Church Family. Caregiver Paulette Hunt.Many other nieces, nephews and friends too numerous to mention. She was predeceased by son Charles E. Charves Jr., parents William and Alice Easton, sisters Jean Smith, Marie Hutchins, Muriel Marshall, Mabel Stovell, Marjorie Symonds, brothers William [Yummy] and Sinclair Easton.
