Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Virginia Bernice “Pye” Minors.
A celebration of life service for Virginia Bernice “Pye” Minors, beloved wife of the late Clarence “Mickey” Minors, daughter of the late Orville Smith and the late Mary Dill; loving mother of Cora Anderson [the late Gladwyn Anderson] and Keith “Beef” Bean Jr., in her 83rd year of #8 Horseshoe Road, Southampton, will be held at Christ Church Devonshire on Friday, June 5, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Christ Church Devonshire Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may pay their last respects on Thursday, June 4, 2026 at Augustus Funeral Home from 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm and on Friday, June 5, 2026 at Christ Church Devonshire Hall on from 10:00 am – 10:45 am.
Virginia “Pye” Minors will be cherished and fondly remembered by grandchildren Patrice, Leevon and Shane Pedro, Keisha and Keiaron Bean; Mother of Grandchildren-Alcina Pimentel, great-grandchildren Syah and Paisley Pedro and Kaylani Wainwright; Sisters – Barbara Smith, Shirley Lawrence [Gearld] and Antionette Douglas; Brother in Law – Thomas Ball; Sisters in Law – Helen Minors, Fay Johnson, Joyce Griffith; God-daughters – Sharika Minors and Virginia; Special Friends – Kathy Ann Paynter, Patricia Bean, Dino Minors, the Darrell Family, the Butterfield Family and the Van Lowe family, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
Virginia “Pye” Minors was predeceased by brothers – St.Clair, Ross and Roland Dill; sisters – Joan Dill and Jean Ball.
