Virginia Mary ‘Gingy’ Decosta

A service celebrating the life of Virginia Mary ‘Gingy’ Decosta, mother of the late Deborah ‘Debbie’ DeCosta; grandmother of Kamla Battersbee [‘LB’], the late Gina Bridette Dionne DeCosta; great grandmother to Kache Battersbee; great-great grandmother to Princess and Prince Battersbee, of #6 Ocean Sands Drive, Warwick WK 02, in her 87th year, will be held on Monday, April 16, 2018 at AMIS Memorial Chapel, Khyber Pass, Warwick at 4:00 p.m. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s cemetery.
Viewing: Before the service on Monday from 3:00 – 3:50 pm at AMIS Memorial Chapel.
Survived by sisters Lattice Wells, Georginia DeCosta; special grandson Edward ‘Pottie’Gilbert. She will also be lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Virginia was predeceased by mother Virginia Mary DeCosta [nee Arruda], Joseph Decosta, siblings William, George, Joseph DeCosta, Hilda Lewis, Helen Smith, Adelade DeCosta and Melba Woodyard.
