A Homegoing Service for Wendy Noreen Lambert, loving wife to Carlton Lambert, beloved daughter of the late Gordon and the late Leola [Wainwright] Pearson, of # 8 Admiral Lane, Southampton SN 01 will be held on Saturday, 15th July, 2023 at 3:30pm at The Mount Zion A.M.E. Church, Whale Bay Lane, Southampton.
Interment will be held on Saturday, 15th July 2023 at 1:30pm at Richard Allen A.M.E. Cemetery, Secretary Road, St. George.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, 14th July, 2023 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at Mount Zion A.M.E. Church, Whale Bay Lane, Southampton only.
Wendy leaves to mourn her memory, her beloved husband Carlton; devoted children Carnell [Gina] Lambert and Carla [Marcus] George; and adored grandson Caleb Lambert; Sisters: Eugenie [Gordon “Tommy”] Outerbridge and Elizabeth Stovell; Brother Richard Pearson; Sisters-in-law: Phyllis Pearson and Yvonne Pearson; Nieces: Amanda Lowe, Lavonne Johnson and Aunty’s special niece Yolanda Hypolite; Nephews: Herbert Pearson, Gordon [Gordie] Pearson, Leslie Pearson, Vaughn, Daniel, Cavin and Calvin Stovell and numerous great nieces and nephews; Spiritual children: Courtney Clay, Kidiste [Pinky] Emery, Dr. Duranda Greene, Ross and the late Karen Smith; Special grandchildren Toneka [Naimah], Jarae and Jarell Hayward; Special family: Janet Lambert, Rose Wainwright, Eloise Wainwright-Jenkins, Juliette Powell, Lori-Lin Packwood, Chivonne Fleming, Louella Benjamin, the Lambert family, Wainwright family, Pearson Family, Richardson Family and Furbert Family. Special friends: Juliette [JuJu] Durham, Grace Bean, Judi Burgess, Avrel Hassell, Olney Bean, Meredith Johnson and Ellen-Kate Horton. The entire Mount Zion AME Church Family, the Bermuda Conference Evangelist, the Passion Girls, Shift [Formerly P.R.I.D.E.], AKA Sorority and many other friends and family members too numerous to mention.
She was predeceased by her parents; brothers: Gordon [Pal], Herbert [Yella], Phillip, and Kent Pearson; Sister in laws Janice Pearson and Ardie Pearson; niece Gladys “Tulie” Pearson and her grand-dog Café.
