A Homegoing service for William James [Willie] Bassett Sr., beloved husband of Leonie Bassett, son of the late William and Nora Bassett [nee Fishington], loving father of Debra Nesbitt-Bassett, Lionel, Kavian [Tequila], Petrina Bassett, Kevin and Margarnette Fishenden and the late William Bassett Jr., in his 87th year of 4 Top Square, 9 Barrack Street St. Georges, will be held at Augustus Funeral Home on Friday, September 16, 2022 at 12:00 pm.
Interment will be at Pembroke Parish Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at Augustus Funeral Home Thursday, September 15, 2022 from 6:30pm to 8:00pm.
Lovingly survived by grandchildren: Lianna and Sherrylee Bassett and Dilon Fishengton; brother to the late Norma Trott, Miriam Tucker, Lucina Dill, Ismay Scott, Dorothy Goater; best mates: Muhammad, Cal and T. Saunders; numerous family and friends.
Family asked for Red to be worn.
