We regret to announce the passing of Winifred Joycelyn Paynter [nee Bowen].
A Homegoing Service for the late Winifred Joycelyn Paynter [nee Bowen], beloved wife of the late Percy Paynter, daughter of the late Juanita ‘Nita’ Bowen [nee Richardson] & Arnette ‘Picker’ Bowen; loving mother of Vernon ‘Butch’ Paynter [Melva], Juanita ‘Cookie’ Knight, Jo-Anne Dyer [Stephen] and Donnamae Buckley [John] of UK; step-sons: Millard ‘Percy’ Paynter [Carol] and the late Ronald & Neville Paynter and the late Tina Thompson; special children: Edwina Bowen, Valerie Lightbourne, Linda Pryor [USA], Leonard ‘Doc’ Davis [Marlene] and Durenda Hassell [Andre]. Sister to Constance ‘Connie’ Stroman [Walter] of Maryland and the late Ashton Bowen; special sister: Winifred Grant; sisters-in-law: Marie Weller, Marie Paynter in her 92nd year of 30 St. John’s Road, Pembroke Parish, will be held at Evening Light Pentecostal Church Today, August 3, 2021 at 11:00am.
Interment will follow at Holy Trinity Church Cemetery, Hamilton Parish. Live via TNN
There will be no wake or visitation after the interment.
There will be no viewing.

Godchildren: Coulbert Bean and the late Deborah Richardson.
