AMIS Memorial Chapel regrets to announce the passing of Winston Allen Reid, son of the late Ina Reid Lawrence, and husband of Glenda Rita Reid, formerly of Bridge-Cot, St. George, Barbados, currently of 90 Sound View Road, Sandys. Winston was the beloved family member of sisters, Evelyn Yvonne Martin and Annie Jordan; brothers, Errol and David Reid and Calvin Jordan; brother-in-law Garen Simmons; sisters-in-law, Delores Jordan and Windell Simmons; nephew: Paul, Adrian, Wayne, Chad and Tavio; nieces: Paula, Dakota, Elizabeth, Monica, Gillian, Shawna, Jameelah and Tandi; godchildren: Michelle Walkes, Jamal Bailey and Collin Browne; many special sisters and brothers (you know exactly who you are); and many relatives and friends here and abroad too numerous to mention. Winston was pre-deceased by his sisters Lorlita Jordan and Jennifer Byer; his brother Basil Byer and his nephew, Wendall Alleyne.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at 12 noon at the St. James Anglican Church, Sandys. Interment to follow at St. James Cemetery.
