It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Yvette Lynn Watson, daughter of the late Lorraine and Clarence Jones. Mother of Jahkeem Watson, sister to Briane Eric McIntosh.
The funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 9th, 2026, 2:00 p.m. at Vernon Temple AME Church, Southampton. Interment to follow immediately after in St. Mary’s Church Cemetery, Middle Road Warwick.
Yvette is also survived by niece: Christina (Tony) Burgess, Great Niece: Zayah Burgess, Charm Dillas, Era Dillas. Great Nephew: Ziia Scott, Tru Dillas. Uncles; Walter and Eugene (Charlotte), Richardson, George, Calvin (Joe) Jones. Aunts: Thelma (Hylton) McGhie, Carol Simmons (late Leroy), and Eleanor Cyrus (Osdell). Numerous cousins, extended family, and friends. Pre-deceased by her aunts and uncles; the late Estelle (Pinky) Dixon, Eugene Phillps, June Dowling, Lorriane Joell, Elsie Grullon, Earlston (Sam) Richardson, Kenneth, Peter and Edmund Jones.
