Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Mr. Albert Thomas Dyer of “Al-Bar-Al”.The home-going service for Mr. Albert Thomas Dyer of “Al-BarAl”, Sommersall Road, Smith’s Parish, will be held at St. Mark’s Church at 1:00 p.m. Today, 16th March 2022.
Albert’s service can be viewed via www.twitch.tv/jroctv2000For 67 years, Albert was loving husband to Barbara J. E. [Trott] Dyer. He was also the beloved father of Alberta Dyer Tucker [Jay], proud grandfather of Tanaya Tucker Waldron [Marquel] and very, very proud great grandfather of Micah. He was also special uncle/dad to Sheelagh Mullan, Darnell Barnett, Leta Woolridge, Kalreta Conyers Steede [Robert] and Cindie Vincent [David].
Albert leaves to celebrate his memory his sisters-in-law: Nelda Dyer, Phyllis Trott, Pauline Dickinson, Joyce Smith; nephews Rev. O’Brien Cartwright [Ismay], Steven Cartwright, Dale Russell [Melody], Michael Russell, George Dyer Jr. [Janita], Donald Trott [Dianne], Clarence and Dennis Trott, Neville Smith Jr.; nieces June Daniels, Joan Thompson, Jean Evans, Leander Collier [John], Ruby Warner, Patricia Dill [Shervin], Jacqueline and Roseanne Russell, Kristy Trott, Winifred Dyer Simmons, god-daughter/niece Cecily Smith [Herman], god-daughter/nieceBernice Burt [Leroy], Deborah Dickinson [Brandon “Pickles” Robinson] and Lovette Smith; dear cousin Gloria Dismont Wilson; very special friends: Marilyn Barstowe, Thelma Joell, Wayne and Etta Bather, Alan and Mayalene Philpott, Diane Swan, the Ocean View Golf Club Family and St. Mark’s Church Family; god-children Deborah Barstowe Bean and LuvalWoolridge; prayer warriors Jennifer DeRosa Holder, Dr. Duranda Greene and Stanfield and Sandra Smith.
There will be no viewing.
Interment will be at St. Mark’s Cemetery.
Albert’s family wishes to thank Dr. Michael Brooks, Dr. Stanley James and the staff of Premier Health and Wellness. In addition, Albert’s family wishes to acknowledge and thank his dynamic team of caregivers: Shawnette Rogers, Yvonne Dawson, Donna Campbell, Dorette Thomas and Claudette Bridgewater. Albert was predeceased by his parents Cornelius Patrick and Esther Vena Dyer, siblings Ellen Cartwright, Lucille Wells, Alice Russell and George Dyer, in-laws Theodore “Carty” Cartwright, Edward Wells, Earl “Townsey” Russell, Cecil “Tommy’ Trott, Wilton Dickinson; nephews and nieces Sandra DeSilva, Derek Russell, Deborah Russell Bean, Junior Wells, Theodore [Teddy] Cartwright, Alan Trott and god-daughter/niece Laverne Smith; special golfing buddies Charles “Bingo” Barstowe, Charles “Spot” Baker, Wellington “Welly” Burrows and Bernard “Biggy” Stevens.
Covid-19 precautions are to be observed. Mask and hand sanitation will be required, social distancing observed.
