We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Anita Lillian Fox [nee Smith] formerly of St. George’s & St. David’s; beloved daughter of the late Westmore Smith and the late Mildred Smith [Nee Borgesson]; loving mother of Seaward Alan Fox; wife of the late Seaward Earl Fox; special niece god-daughter and caretaker Carol-Anita Philip; special nephew Mervyn Smith; sisters-in-law Mrs. Judith Wilkinson, Mrs. Rebecca Smith and Mrs. Patricia Wilson [USA]; god-daughters Judy Minors and the late Laverne Thomas; lifelong friend the late June Thomas; numerous nieces, nephews [great & great-great] too many to mention.
Anita was predeceased by her brothers the late Edward, Clarence, Joseph and Agnel Smith; sisters the late Kitsie Simons, Mildred Stoneham, Ailene Smith, Viola Bean, Vivian Smith and Hilda Minors.
A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Amis Memorial Chapel & Crematory, Khyber Pass, Warwick. There will be no viewing.
Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Warwick. Special thanks to Westmeath Nursing Home, KEMH, Lorraine’s Nursing Home and Agape House. Yellow was Anita’s favourite colour and can be worn in her memory.
