With great sadness, we announce the passing of Barry Curtis Begg formerly of Paget, Bermuda, and recently of Avenue Road, Toronto, Canada. Curtis is survived by his daughters; Stacy Saynor [Don] and Sara Townsend [Dave] and his son; Curtie [Libby]. He was “Big Guy” to his nine grandchildren Alex, Jack, Georgia, Luke, Tommy, Willie, Henry, Kate, and Ellie. Curtis married Nancy Ewart [Begg] who died in 1992 and then Nikki Masters Begg until 2011. He will be remembered for his career in the investment business including for Begg Securities in Toronto and then for Richardson Begg and Barrington Investments in Bermuda; also for his enthusiasm for life and his friendship with many. His funeral service will be at the Humphrey Funeral Home A W Miles in Toronto on 21st June 2024 at 1 pm. Please consider donating in Curtis’ memory to the Michael Fox Foundation.
