With peaceful hearts, the family of the late Vincent Charles Jacobs announce his passing on Friday 27th March 2026. Vincent is lovingly survived by his adoring wife Carol, his daughter Valincia [Vaughn], his stepdaughter Wendy, daughter-in-law: Nicole Hendrickson, his grandchildren; Makai, Darren [Patrice], Tiffany, Alisha, Kole, Raisa, Yhana, Jon, and Jordon. Bonus grand-daughter Shanya Bashir, great grand-children: Kaian, D.’Mori, Aaron, A’Dyn, Kanin & Kiki, his siblings; Linda & Lloyd, his stepmother; Mary Jacobs, his cousins; Lenamae, her son Wylie Rudo & family, Gregory Jacobs & family [Felicity], his uncle; Joe Stevens and family, brother-in-Law Dr. R. Wayne Swan, sisters-in-law; Gail [Gladwin], Ruthie, Sheila, Alana [Burton], Lynn [late Andre], Gini [Edward]. Friends; Gary Dowling & family, Clarence Edwards & family, William and Mr. Wales and family, Mr. Frost & family and numerous other taxi drivers. Relatives; The Benjamin, The Jacobs & The Rochester families, numerous nieces and nephews namely, Nina, Ambika, Willy and Cuba and the Sun Valley Family.
Vincent was pre-deceased by; his parents; John & Cynthia Jacobs, his son; Andre Hendrickson, step-daughter Rownay Kerr, his siblings; Brenda Hutchins, Wesley & Milton Jacobs, his father-in-law Leslie Swan, his mother-in-law Ruth Swan, his brothers-in-law: Reginald “Yice” Wilkinson, Leslie “Junior” [Sheila] & Dennis Swan, his sisters-in-law: Diana Armstrong & Sandra Smith, his niece; Beverly and his uncles: Big Ben & Tubby Benjamin [his mother’s brothers].
We the family of the late Vincent Charles Jacobs take this opportunity to express our gratitude for the care and comfort that we have received from family and friends during this time. We send an abundance of gratitude to the doctors and nursing staff on the third and fourth floors of KEMH and Agape House who took excellent care of Vincent during his illness.
A private service and interment was held on Friday April 10TH, 2026.
