We regret to announce the passing of Bernia Matilda Nisbett [nee Jacobs] beloved wife to Franklyn Nisbett, daughter of the late John and Christina Jacobs [nee Walters]; loving mother to Gregory, Orville [Simone], Michael [Khaliah] and China Nisbett, of Sandys in her 87th year. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, 1st October 2023, at 4:30 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Middle Road, Southampton. Interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, 30th September 2023, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Augustus Funeral Home, Elliott Street, Hamilton.
Bernia is survived by grandchildren: China`, Gregory Jr., Shianne [Kinday], Maquel, Crystal, Khamari and Khayden Nisbett and Keisha, Kirk and Keagan Hanley; great-grands: Shavon, Cavon, Shale` Nisbett, Keiko Johansen, Mosi Tankard-Robinson and Amira Tankard; special nephew: Charles “Bopsy” [Nesta] Robinson; nieces: Mayruth [Michael] “Pat” [deceased] Caesar, Lisa Jacobs, Suzanne “Sue” Smith [Calvin], Marrissa Diggs [Devin], Nika Jacobs [Jamel]; special nieces: Sonia Jennings and Ann Jacobs.
