Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of: Betty Jeanette Iris.
A homegoing service for Betty Jeanette Iris, daughter of the late John and Mary Iris, loving mother to Tanya and Calvin Iris, loving grandmother to Calshae and Khadijah Iris and great grandchildren Saori Mader and Nhori Iris-Beach, sister to Glenda Simons, Allana Iris-Smith, Linda Laws, John Iris Jr., and the late Judy Deshield, in her 78th year of 8 Coral Hill Lane, Warwick, will be held at St. Mary’s Church, Warwick, Today, June 3, 2024 at 1:30 pm.
Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. There will be no viewing.
Visitation will be held at St. Mary’s Church, Warwick, Today, June 3, 2024 from 12:00 pm – 1:15 pm.
Lovingly survived by uncle: Kim White; daughter-in-law: Beverly Ball; brothers-in-law: Wilbur Simons; nieces and nephews: Lorreatta Dill [Michael], Kelly Lyons [Robert], Nikki Fagan, Tammi Givans, Shayla Thomas [Tony], Adonai Laws; great nieces and nephews: Mikle and Mikal Dill, Kadeem, Na’ilah and Nyssa Lyons, Logan Smith, Dymare Simons, Priya Givans and Nyla Whitter; Brannon and Amyah Thomas; Liya and Rylee Laws; special childhood friend: June Paynter [Craigon ‘Johnny’] and sons Brent and Justin Paynter.
She was predeceased by brother-in-law: Ralph Oggiano ‘Oggie’ Smith.
