Carlton Cleveland Smith

The graveside service honoring the life of Carlton [5000/ET] Cleveland Smith, beloved husband of the late Astoria Ismay Smith, cherished son of Cyril Smith Sr., Sarah Louise Smith [Burt] grateful son to adopted mother Almira Hayward, loving brother to Michael and Cyril Smith, and devoted uncle to Michael Smith [Lenneir] and Carol Ratteray, will be held on July 6th at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Cemetery. Carlton, a resident of #1 St. Augustine Road, Pembroke, was a devoted father to Lois Butterfield, stepfather to Sharon Gibbons [Daymound], Dawnette Haynes, Wenda Williams, the late Cecil ‘Cici’ III, and the late Marvin Williams, will be deeply missed in his 80th year. There will be no viewing.
Carlton’s memory will be cherished by his grandchildren: Geralvonno Williams [Amber], Jahmae Williams, Dajae Nesbitt, Jahmarli Nesbitt, Jana Gibbons, Kiara Gibbons, Dajoune, Majestic, and Lorrin, as well as his great-grandchildren, Sarai Hazelwood, Geralvonno Williams Jr., Blake Williams, Messiah Wilson, Deshun Dill, and Ivy. He is also remembered fondly by his great-nephew Jontai Bailey and god-daughters Teresa Williams & Liana Woods, brothers in law: Noel [Joy], Anthony [Ann] Burgess, Patrick, Howard, Charles and Daniel Hayward, and sisters in law: Dorothy Smith, Georgine Symonds, Gaynelle Williams [Gary], Rose Pace the late George ‘Peter’, Calvin and Elmer Burgess, Yanthe Lee, Dianna Burgess, Leslie Ann Smith, and Melita Olden.
Special friends from the Sunshine League, Bermuda Long Riders, CB Radio friends, Marine & Ports family, and Phyllis Peterson will also hold him dear in their hearts, along with numerous nieces, nephews, godchildren, and many other relatives and friends.
