AMIS Memorial Chapel regrets to announce the passing of Carol Noelette Bassett, in her her 82nd year, of “Le Caranda”, 33 St. Anne’s Road, Southampton. Carol was the beloved daughter of the late, George & Albertha Dickinson; loving wife of Randall Bassett; loving mother to Dana (Vincent) Bean & LeVar Bassett. Sister to Judith (Leon) James & the late Dilton Dickinson, Brother-in-law Kingston (Bobbie) Bassett. A homegoing service will be held at Southampton Seventh-day Adventist Church on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at St. Anne’s Church Cemetery.
The family will be present to receive friends on Wednesday, July 15th, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at AMIS Memorial Chapel, 8 Khyber Pass Warwick.
Carol leaves to mourn her husband, Randall Bassett; children Dana (Vincent) Bean & LeVar Bassett; Grandchildren: Guielle Bean, Guyen Bean, Jannieh Bassett, Nylah Bassett and Kiara Somner; Sister Judith (Leon) James. Nephews: Duane Dickinson and Shannon James. Nieces: Dionne Dickinson and Nikita Euler. Great nephews: Taurin Euler, Aidan Euler and Tai Dicksinson. Great nieces: Deonae and Teela Dickinson. Godchildren: Daron Raynor & Shawnette Simons. Special friends: The DeGraffs, Gilkes, Ray & Lorraine Simons, Karen, Shiela, Paula, Pat & Samuel Wilson, Cal Ming (predeceased), Mel & Di Ming, Pastor Caryle & Marilyn Simmons, Mrs. Carol Stoneham, Mrs. Olga Stovall, Dollene Smith and The Southampton Seventh-day Adventist family.
