The Celebration of Life service for Janet Yvonne Simmons, daughter of the late Henry and Louisa Richards, widow of the late Graham Simmons of Smiths Parish, the devoted mother of William, Shawn and Shawnette Smith in her 84th year of 41 Town Hill, Smiths FL 07 will be held on Saturday, July 11th at 11:00 am at First Church of God North Shore, Pembroke. Family and friends may pay their last respects on Friday, July 10th at Augustus Funeral Home from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Internment to follow at Pembroke Parish cemetery.
Janet will be remembered by her bonus children: Graham (Marionette), Alice (Devin), Shirley (Bryan), Gary Simmons (Courtney) and George Simmons, cherished by her grandchildren: Will Jr, Asia and Seven; bonus grandchildren. She is survived by her siblings Cynthia (Earlston), Mavis (Ronald), Franklyn and Michael (Cheryl); daughter in law Mary Smith; sister-in-law Patsy Richards, numerous nieces, nephews and many many friends. Special mention of Emalyn, her caregiver of many years.
