Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of: – Deanna A. Wade.
A celebration of life service for Deanna A. Wade, dedicated partner to Sarah Northcott and mother to fur babies China, Guzzy, Mango [all deceased] Marley and Luna; daughter of Eula-Lee Wade [nee Edness] and James Eugene Wade Jr., granddaughter to Ruth Edness and Samuel Edness, also James Eugene Wade Sr. and Helen Wade [nee York]; niece to James Edness and L. Fredrick Wade [all deceased], sister to Rev. Dr. Wendell Christopher [Karen], Anthony [Lynn], the late Annette Wade, Derek, Andrea and Laurie Wade, in her 63rd year of “The Kilns”, 33 Creeton Road, Little Bytham, Grantham, UK, formerly of 27 North Shore Road, Smith’s, will be held at St. Philip AME 102 Harrington Sound, Smith’s on Saturday, December 6th, 2025 at 11:00am.
Interment to follow at St. John’s Cemetery, Pembroke. Deanna will be missed tremendously by her surviving siblings, special nephews: Anthony Jr. [Barbara], Dameko [Brittany], Alexander, Wendell Jr. [Tiffany] and Shawn, Nathaniel; special nieces: Kalley [Shane] and Alana, Samantha, 2 great-nieces and 6 great nephews; God-daughters: Alisha Francis and Shani Thompson, The Berkeley Institute Class of 1980 and, dear friends locally and overseas too numerous to mention.
