Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of: – Dereck Dillas.
A Homegoing service for Dereck Dillas, beloved and devoted wife Gloria Dillas, son of the late Clayton and Thelma Dillas, father of Davika Catrina, Linda [Diek], Dave, Jemma, Nirobi, Andre and the late Linna, brother of Patti-Jean and Dorinda [Vince] and the late Juanita [Johnny] and Wendy [Stan], in his 74th year of 2 Aerial View Close, Devonshire, will be held at St. Paul’s Church, Paget on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 2:00 pm.
Interment will follow at St. Paul’s Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Augustus Funeral Home on Friday, October 14, 2022 from 6:30pm to 8:00pm.
Lovingly survived by grandfather to: Dazhon, Joey, Dylan, Dazha Catrina, Shalini [Stephen], Shani, Nisha; great-grandfather of: Sahon and Keora; nephew of: Helen, Gladys and Relda; Uncle to Diione, Jaja, Nicole [Wayne], Kijana [Juan], Zalika, Tamika, and Velina. Great Uncle to Daaimah, Zanaeyah, Hailey and Aviana; great uncle to: Kijuan, Kaylohn, Johnathan, Diione Jr., Amari, Aidan, London and Hassan; special grandchildren: Nirobi Jr., Emilio, Ezi, Nivae; special cousins: Dexter [Ralda], Gary, Deirdre [Stan], Andrea; special second cousins: Tylar and Tschana; bestfriends: Nigel P., Lawrence, Alvin, Betty, Heman, Sandra.
Dereck is pre-deceased by aunts: Doreen and Eva; uncles: Bernell, Dudley and Reece. As well as numerous Dillas and Jones family members.
