Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of: – Doris Georgina Samuels.
A Homegoing service for Doris Georgina Samuels, daughter of the late John and Susanna Samuels, sister to the late Mary Hayward [Alfred], Inez Mills [Samuel], Thelma Bailey [Cleo], Robert, Albert [Florence] and Winslow [Phyllis] Samuels, in her 96th year of Dorothy Crane Nursing Home, will be held at The Evening Light Pentecostal Church, Parson Road, Pembroke, today, November 24, 2023 at 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent in her memory to the Evening Light Pentecostal Church.
Interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at The Evening Light Pentecostal Church, Parson Road, Pembroke, today, November 24, 2023 from 12:00 pm – 12:50 pm.
Lovingly survived by nephews: Quinton, Gary and Wendell Hayward and the late Calvin and Ross Hayward, Phillip, Glensworth, Earl, Kevin and Cornell and the late Elvis Bailey, Larry, Cordell, Donavin and the late Roger Samuels; nieces: Patricia Simons, Sharon Hayward, Shirlene Simons, Doris Bailey (godchild), Colleen DeSilva, Linda Bynam, Kim Wilkerson, Rovenia Tull and Janice Holdipp; godson: Andre Hayward; special friends: The late Sarah Leader, Lola Bean, Claudia Augustus, Julieann Tucker, Pastors Harold and Marilyn Lambe, Pastor Jonathan and Candice Lambe, The Evening Light Pentecostal Church family, and the Residents and Staff of Dorothy Crane Nursing Home; numerous great nieces and nephews and other family members too numerous to mention.
