Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Helene Ann Dill [nee Furbert].
A graveside service for Helene Ann Dill [nee Furbert] daughter of the late Wilfred [Bill] and Kathleen A. Furbert [nee Grant], loving wife of Robert Dill Sr. and adoring mother of Kathy Smith, Robin [Derek] Simmons, Ellan Smith, and Dawn [Williston] Furbert, of 14 Midland Heights, Hamilton Parish in her 79th year, will be held at St. Peter’s Cemetery on Sunday, November 26, 2023 at 3:00 pm.
Visitation will be held at Augustus Funeral Home on Saturday, November 25, 2023 from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm.
She is survived by her precious grands: Jayne’ [Kenji], Joricho, Aaron, Daliesha, Dateja [Chez], Dabria, Isaiah, Serenity, and Xavion; great-grands: Maceo, Xola, Zen, NiJasz, Jayari, Amir, Alissa, and Anahje’; godchildren: Karen Furbert, Steve Wade, George Smith Jr., Kevina Glasgow, Roslyn York and Roseland Parks; siblings: Llewelyn [Lulu], Graeme [Flash] [Roslyn], Charles [Bert], and Ross Furbert, Pat Hudson, and Janet Richardson; aunt: Myrtle Furbert; in-laws: Patricia Dill, Juanita [Steve] Shaw, Dorothy Furbert, Delores Furbert, Aretta Furbert, Kenisha Dill, Roger, Rudolph [Debra] and Reginald [Jennifer] Dill; special friends: Glendall and Winette Phillips, Naomi Crockwell, Rosalind Johnson, and Dorothy Butterfield, Grant, Furbert, DeGraff and Bean families, Brighton Hill Church of Christ family, Cleveland County family, Knapton Hill family, RAA Seniors Club, Lions and Lioness Clubs, Fellowship Circle, and numerous other family and friends, both here and abroad.
Helene Dill was predeceased by son: Robert [Pampa] Dill Jr.; grandson: Jason Mello; siblings: Winslow Cox, Maurice [Wesey], Wilfred, John [Willard], Leonard [Dizzy], Richard, Wilbur, Nelfred [Nell] Furbert and Mildred [Molly] Aubrey, Winifred ‘Tiny’ Smith.
