Edouard Franz Williams

A memorial service for Mr. Edouard Franz Williams, in his 95th year, of Tamarind Vale, Warwick, will be held on Saturday, October 17th, 2026, at 1:00pm at Ebenezer Methodist Church, St. George’s. Edouard was the devoted father of Scott and Victoria Edmonds (Anthony). He was predeceased by his beloved wife Rosalind; his parents Lawrence and Joyce Williams (nee Richardson); his sisters Alathea DeShield of Ontario, Canada (the late Winston) and Gloria Stowe (the late Arthur aka Bobba); his brother Quinton (Bernelle); and his brothers-in-law Randolph Ratteray, JP (Althea) and Ellsworth Ratteray (Birdie). Also predeceasing him were his nephews David Stowe (Roseceita), Robert Lawrence (Skip) DeShield, and Kevin Ratteray. He is survived by his granddaughter Alexis Buddington nee Williams (Joseph) of Florida, USA; his great-grandchildren Kingston, Alayna, Maveryk, Irie, Kairoh and Aurora; his sisters-in-law Leonetta Blake (the late Orville) and Beverley Ratteray (Warren); and his brother-in-law Percival Ratteray Jr. (Tanya). He is missed in barks and belly rubs by his granddogs Lady of Seyton aka CiCi and Silver Excalibur aka Pato.
Also surviving are his nieces Lynelle Williams, Leslie Scott (Murray), Donna Stowe (Llewellyn), Melanie Ratteray (mother Effie), Renee Fortner (Dwayne), Rosalind Blake, Trina Bean, Deborah Monk (Sidney), Heather Kent (Jonathan), Kina Cann (George), Tracee Seymour (Danvers), and Heidi Ratteray as well as his nephews Alan DeShield (the late Annie), Deryck Blake, and Ellsworth Ratteray Jr. He was much loved by his great-nieces, great-nephews and special friends including but not limited to Jameelah Telemaque (Marc), Tracey Moore, Nicole Williams, Che Stowe, Charna Stowe, Elyse Rayner (Andrew), Brandon Scott (fiancée Shyniece), Kristen Ndiaye (Issa), Ella Kent, and Yanzi Ratteray; as well as great-great nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
