Bulley-Graham-Rawlins Funeral Home announces the funeral service for Francis Joseph Vallis, which will be held at St. Paul’s Church, Middle Road, Paget, on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at 10:00 am.
Interment will follow immediately after the service at St. John’s Cemetery, St. John’s Road, Pembroke. For those unable to attend in person, the service will be streamed live on the JROC Communications YouTube channel (www.YouTube.com/jrocbda).
Francis was the son of the late Francis Boyd Vallis and Katherine Vallis, and the loving husband of Gillian Vallis. He was predeceased by his stepmother Irene Brennan, his stepbrother Eddie Brennan, and his nephew Edward Lormer.
He is survived by his children, Sarah Vallis Pietila (Jyrki), Alexandra Vallis, Paul Vallis (Choi), and Boyd Vallis (Muna); his grandchildren, Jeremias Pietila, Samantha Peffer, Jason Peffer, Olivia Scaff, Sophie Vallis, Nicholas Vallis, Sara Vallis, and Joseph Vallis; and his nieces and nephews, James Lormer (Carol), Susan Vafiades (Greg), Leslie Symmonds, Jeff Bucher, Danny Bucher, Wayne Bucher (Judith), and Larry Bucher (Trudy). He will also be fondly remembered by numerous other relatives and friends both here and abroad.
