We regret to announce the passing of Elizabeth [Betty] Marie Mroz MBE, in her 83rd year of Warwick Parish, beloved daughter of the late Harry Murdoch and Harriet Grimes. She is survived by her devoted husband, Donald A. Mroz; her loving daughter, Donna M. Lewis [Matt]; her cherished granddaughters, Danielle Lawrence [Phil] and Krystal Peterson [Kurt]; her sisters, Priscilla Smith and Annmarie Clark [Peter]; her nephew, Michael [Alison]; her nieces, Amber [Adrian] and Paige [Tommy]; and her grand-nieces, Charlotte and Emily, and grand-nephew, Logan. Truly loved and remembered by family and dear friends, too numerous to name.
The family extends special thanks to her dear long-time friend, Justice Norma Wade-Miller OBE JP, and to her cherished Saturday Ladies golfing companions—Libby, Audrey, and their friends—for their friendship and support over the years.
The Funeral Service will take place at St. Mark’s Church, South Road, Smith’s Parish, on Thursday, 7th of May 2026, at 3:00 pm. Interment will follow immediately after the service at St. Mark’s Cemetery. There will be no viewing. Guests are welcome to wear colours, particularly hints of blue, in her memory.
