We regret to announce the passing of Helen Maude Elizabeth [Peggy] Bean [nee Burch], born June 24, 1942 transitioned December 23, 2025, beloved daughter of the late Reginald and Etoile Burch; loving mother to Vanessa and Bryan Burch and Derika Bean [Dennis]; survived by siblings: Clifford [Marion], Rudolph and John Burch, Robert Seymour and Barry Lewis and the Bean Family; grandchildren: Attiya-Lynn [Daniel], Tamisha [Owen] and Michael Simmons, Bryahna and Taye Fishington, Chishan and Shukiya Burch, Andryah Fishington and Jabryhn Burch; great grandchildren: Tokya Simmons, Shakurah Outerbridge, Liam Colvin, Icsa-Kish Okai and Ma’ata Okai-James, many nieces, nephews and cousins, locally and overseas as well as many special friends who have helped her tremendously over the years. She was predeceased by siblings: Herman, David and Earlston Burch.
Special thanks to her in-laws [the Bean family], few neighbours, Nurse Alison, Kali’s Kare & Shan, K.E.M.H., EMT [Fire Dept.], Age Concern, LCCA, Calvary Gospel, Young at Heart [member], The Crafty Ladies [crochet and knitting] and freehand art. Constant weekly personal help to her: Melvin Ingham [Smiler], Albert Simons [Preston] and Marlon Cann.
