A private family graveside service to celebrate the life of the late Jean Wakefield, beloved wife of the late Joseph “Joe” Edward Wakefield, in her 85th year of Smith’s Parish, was held at the Holy Trinity Church, Hamilton Parish on Monday, 25 March 2024, She is survived by her daughter: Louise [Nathaniel Butterfield]; grandchildren: Kate and Jessica Anfossi; sisters and brothers in law: Joyce [Ted] Pearson, Paula [Kevin] George, Elizabeth Hanson [Barry – deceased]; nieces and nephews: Jonathan [Mary-Jo] Farrow, Chris [Naz] Farrow, Julia [Adam] Hawley, Kevin [Andrea] Pearson, Jane [Max] Mackie, Zoe Hanson, Michael [Stephanie] Hanson, Rebecca [Colm] Singleton, Lindsay George, Nicholas George, Gail McNally, Robert Wakefield, and David Wakefield; special cousins: Joan, Mick and Suzie Bentley; numerous other great nieces and nephews, relatives and friends both here and abroad.
Jean is predeceased by her sister Patricia Farrow and brother-in-law Ian Farrow; brother-in law and sister-in law Robert and Dorothy Wakefield.
