With sadness, we announce the passing of Joyce Macpherson in Nova Scotia after a brief illness. The daughter of the late Harry and Florence Copeland. Survived by her children Stephen (Jeann), Carol (George), and Gary. Father of their children, Donald Macpherson. Grandchildren Manoli and Mario (Raianne) and her beloved Lucas.
Joyce is also survived by her sisters Joan Hayward and husband Edwin, and Patricia Copeland-Lacey. She was predeceased by husband Fred (Canada), sister Marion Oatley, brother Wilfred Hodson, and wife Shirley. Joyce will be deeply missed by many in Bermuda and Canada, including special nieces Gina, Linda, and very special friend Fanny Churm. Her ashes will come home to Bermuda as she requested and will be interred at a later date.
