A Homegoing service for Leon Chetwood Virgil, born November 12, 1937 – August 20, 2023, was the son of the late Ida and Stanley Virgil; loving Husband of Judith Virgil; loving father to Judith Richardson [Larry] and Lauralette Virgil; grandfather to Jahdeko Fubler [2 great-grandchildren], Lincoln Smith Jr.[4 great-grandchildren], Zhane’ Virgil-Darrell & Kayla Virgil-Darrell; brother to Charles Virgil[Janice], Blanche Virgil, Phyllis O’Connor, Howard Smith [brother-in-law] and the late Katherine Darrell, Violet Smith, Deloris Butterfield, Albertha Williams, Florence Samuels, Thomas Virgil, O’Neil Virgil, Mansfield Virgil, Eugene Virgil; Numerous Nieces, Nephews, Cousins; was in his 86th year.
Service will be held at Heritage Worship Centre, 59 Dundonald Street, Hamilton on August 31st, 2023 at 12pm. Interment will follow at St John’s Cemetery.
