Lovella “Lala” Cruz

Lovella “Lala” Luistro Cruz, 48, of Padre Garcia, Batangas, Philippines tragically succumbed to her injuries at King Edward Memorial Hospital after a vehicular accident on the evening of November 9, 2023, at approximately 10:50 PM in Sandy’s, Bermuda.
Lala was a dedicated OFW [Overseas Filipino Worker] whom over the last decade has worked as a Caregiver/Housekeeper in Israel and then moved to Bermuda in 2018.
She is survived by her husband Bernard Aclan Cruz and is a loving mother to Bernard Angelo Luistro Cruz and Kurt Diesel Luistro Cruz. Lala is also survived by siblings: Laudelex Luistro, Louilyn Sulit, Lyra Carranza and Lea Marie Diaz.
Lala was most recently employed at BZ Limited as a Caregiver. She will always be remembered as a loving and caring person with a bright and energetic personality. Described by her friends and family as the breadwinner, dedicated to providing a better life and future for her loved ones. She touched many lives, not just of her family and friends but also the lives of her patients and their respective families, with her generosity and passion for life.
A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at St. Theresa’s Catholic Cathedral, #13 Elliott Street, Hamilton, HM 09 at 4PM on Sunday November 19, 2023. The venue for the reception is to be announced.
