Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the Death of Lynette Marie Joseph, beloved wife of Delwyn Eugene Ottley Joseph, was one of twin daughters born to the late Gloria Joell and Clarence Alfonso Burgess of Pembroke Parish, in her 75th year.
She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Chyvaughn Joell; stepdaughter, Sudell Joseph; and her loving siblings: Lornette Jones [twin], Darlene Hollis [Vance Hollis], Doreen Ming [Maurice Ming], Brenda Burrows [Clarence Burrows], Dwayne Burgess, and Terence Burgess and other siblings. She was a proud grandmother to Tafari, Sayree Joell, Zen and Chennai. She is also lovingly remembered by her nieces, Shaundae and Chelsea Hollis, Makeila Ming; nephews, Mikael and Marcus Ming; great-niece, Nylae Hollis; and great-nephews, Nyindae Berry-Hollis, Inari Trott, Kenzo Riley, and Karter Riley. She is further survived by her sisters-in-law, Andrea Joseph and Joyce Joseph; brother-in-law, Gary Joseph [Hilary]; cousin, Junior Duke Joell [Jean]; godchildren, Shawn Goater, Sergio Burgess, and Justice Edness; and dear friends, June and Johnny Paynter, Shirley and Nigel Forster, Arlene Trott, Donna Edness, Finote Wears, the Broadbelt family, along with many other extended family members and friends too numerous to mention. She was predeceased by her parents, Gloria Joell and Clarence Alfonso Burgess; her brother, George Joell; and her brother-in-law, Maurice Ming.
She was laid to rest on Wednesday, May 13, 2026.
