We regret to announce the passing of Major Sharon Toinette Wilson [nee Peniston], in her 76th year of 15 Palm Valley, Southampton, beloved and adored wife of Major Alfred Wilson; daughter of the late Pearl Peniston and William F. J. Cann; loving mother to Altoinette Wilson [Arnold], Shonette Wilson [Steve], Alton Wilson [Sherie], Alsha Wilson.
A service celebrating her life will be held on Sunday, March 3, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at North Street Salvation Army. Interment to follow at Wesley Methodist Cemetery, Cemetery Road, Pembroke.
Major Sharon leaves to cherish her memories her siblings: Jeannette Lowe, Pamela Hunter [Arnold], Valda Peniston-Charles, Derrick Simmons, Khalifah Abdul Jabbar, Dr Richard Cann, Alan Cann [Dawn], Noel Cann [Beverly], Linda Trott, Deborah Gillett [Roger], nieces, nephew, godchildren, family and friends too numerous to mention.
Major Sharon Wilson was predeceased by Llewellyn Peniston and Stephen Cann.
