A celebration of life for Marie Lila Tucker [nee Houghton], beloved wife of the late Richard J. W. Tucker, devoted mother to Kim Tucker [Sonya], Dr. Gina Tucker-Smith [Curtiss] and the late Richard “Buddy” Tucker Jr., ‘adopted’ mother to the late Maynard Dill [Wilma] and stepmother to the late Daamon Caines, sister to the late Eleanor Jackson, Earl Houghton and Milton Houghton, sister-in-law to Melba Trott, the late Shirley Simmons [Gladwin Sr.], Kathleen Mathews and Joy Tucker, transitioned to her heavenly resting place in her 94th year on Saturday, 16th March, 2024, will be held at St. Paul A.M.E. Church, Hamilton, on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 2:00 pm.
There will be no viewing.
