Sylvia Virginia Marlene Caines

It is with profound sadness that the family of Virginia Caines announces her passing on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at the Michael Garron Hospital, Toronto. Virginia was 90 years of age. She was the daughter of the late James Arnold Caines and the late Gertrude Anita Caines [nee Virgil].
Our beloved Virginia is survived by her brother Anthony Caines of Toronto and her sister Mrs. Olga Howes of Bermuda and numerous loving nieces, nephews and cousins, too many to mention.
She was predeceased by her siblings: Geraldine Caines, Wilfred [Bunny] Caines, Vernon [Bishop] Caines, Margaret Simons [nee Caines], Carlyle [Joe] Caines, Granville [Fatsy] Caines, Jacqualine [Oralene] Trott nee Caines, and Ali Sheed [aka James Caines].
She will be deeply missed by her family and friends in the Caribbean, Canada, England and United States.
Virginia was a retired nurse and member of the SDA Family. A memorial service and burying of ashes for Virginia will take place on Sunday, 7th April 2024 at the St. George SDA Church and Cemetery, Secretary Road, St. George at 2:00pm.
