Melcome Jerome Robinson

It is with profound sadness that the Robinson family announces the passing of our beloved Melcome Jerome “Romey” “Blondie” Robinson, who peacefully entered into eternal rest on June 9, 2026.
Known throughout Bermuda for his gentle spirit, warm smile, strong work ethic, and love of the sea. Blondie was a skilled boatman, mechanic, and painter. He touched countless lives through his humility, generosity, and willingness to lend a helping hand. To know him was to know that he was a devoted supporter of Manchester United.
Predeceased by his mother, Claudine “Baby Sis” Robinson; brothers, Milton, Dewilton “Blu” and Vandal “Hockey” Robinson; sister, Sharel Robinson; and brothers-in-law, Eugene Evans and Russell Williams.
He leaves to cherish his memory his brother, Lawson Robinson; sisters, Rhoda Evans, Sandra Williams, Celeste Deshields and Alfreda Brown (Leonard); numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, extended family members, his church family, and a wide circle of friends.
A viewing for family and friends will be held at AMIS Memorial Chapel, 8 Khyber Pass Warwick, on Friday June 19th, 2026, from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. only.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday June 20th, 2026, 10:00 a.m. at Beulah Tabernacle, 4 Beulah Lane Sandy’s. Interment will follow at St. James Church Cemetery.
