Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Ms. Oreta Shanel Young.
A homegoing service for Ms. Oreta Shanel Young, beloved daughter of the late Ashley and Miriam Young of “Ashmir”, of 23 Crossland Lane, Pembroke will be held at St. Paul A.M.E. Church, Victoria Street, Hamilton, on January 10, 2023 at 1:00pm.
Interment will follow at Pembroke Parish Cemetery. Flowers may be sent. There will be no viewing.
Also surviving are brothers Ervin [late Glenda], Keith [Gwendolyn]; nieces and nephews; Godchildren Jennifer Nisbett, Patti Ann Hill and Cymone Sims; special friends Marie Ming, Cynthia Stovell, Eugene White, Gloria Wolffe, Ann Beach, Janet Douglas, Maggie Paul, Ira Ingham, Muriel Nusum and Florence Outerbridge; special families Josephs, Webbs [Canada], Smiths, Youngs, Jones, Trotts, Mings, Dills, St. Paul A.M.E. Church family; and numerous other relatives and friends.
