A Homegoing service for Rita Elizabeth Smith [nee Trott] of 6 Barracks Close, St. Georges in her 78th year. A celebration of life service for Rita Elizabeth Smith will be held at the Ebenezer Methodist Church, 7 York Street, St. Georges GE05 on Saturday March 4, 2023 at 1pm. Interment will follow at Ebenezer Methodist Cemetery, St. Georges. Viewing will be held Saturday March 4 at the church from 12.00pm to 12.45pm.
Rita leaves to mourn children Maurice Trott [Wendy], Larita Smith, Lawrence Smith Jr [Sabrina] and daughter-in-law Kim Trott; grandchildren Tiyonna Smith [Calvin Byrd], Aldonte Smith, Lawrence ‘Tre’ Smith III, Marissa Trott, LaRoy Trott and Prince-Lawrence Smith, great-grandchildren XaeLahn Smith, Caile Smith, Caiis Byrd, King Smith & Caine Byrd; siblings Kenneth ‘Kenny Earl, Trott [Marie], Ellen ‘Ellie’ Baker [Melvin] and sister-in-law Debbie Trott; godchildren Sandra Lynn Paynter and Sherwyn Richardson; numerous aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews both local and abroad; special friends the Smith family

Rita was predeceased by her mother Marecheaux Trott, son John LaRoy Trott and brother Daniel ‘Bubba’ Trott.
