Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Rudolph Edwin ‘Mutt’ ‘Sonny’ Lawrence, in his 94th year, dearly beloved husband of Greta Lawrence [nee Adams]; son of the late Eldon Wainwright and Imogene Lawrence; loving father of Euleen Furbert [Ralph], Kanhai Lawrence [Naomi], Gary Lawrence [Marcelle], Lionel ‘Eddie’ Paul, Dennis ‘Bo’ Paul, and Marie Paul. There will be no viewing. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, 2 May 2026 at 2:00 pm at Bethel A.M.E. Church. Service will be live streamed from Bethel A.M.E. Church on YouTube.
Rudolph will be lovingly remembered by siblings Enid Whitter [the late Harley], Judith Lawrence, Dawn ‘Candy’ Desilva [Carlos]; Brother-in-love to Janice Wright, the late Burnell Adams [Carrie], the late Barbara Cox-Tucker, Sandra Belboda, the late Carolyn Burgesson [Ivan], Claudette Adams [Robert], Linda Martinez [James] and Derek Adams [Crisetta]; cherished by grandchildren Jevon Lawrence [Kim], Raneek Furbert, Brittany Eversley, Garynae and Kinae Dowling and Marieko Paul.
