Scherrie Lynn Golden

The family is deeply saddened to announce the passing of Scherrie Lynn [Eggen] Golden. In her 72nd year of Jews Bay, Southampton.
She was the fourth daughter born to the late William and Agnes [Crofton] Golden of Southampton. Scherrie is predeceased by her brother and sister Goldie and Gail [Baker] and survived by her sister Shelia [Shrinanrine].
She leaves behind her former husband, Christopher Eggen, and their four children: Sarah Eggen, Christine Caines [Travis], Christopher Eggen and Hannah Eggen. Also, her grandchildren: William, Travis II, Olivia and Michael. She is also remembered by a large and loving circle of family and friends—far too many to name individually—who were touched by her kindness and unwavering spirit.
A special acknowledgment is extended to her devoted support system, Dorothy and Bobbie. Thank you for your love, care, and presence.
Scherrie passed peacefully, surrounded by her family. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of encouragement, sympathy, and support during this difficult time.
Honoring her wishes, there will be no funeral service. May she rest in peace until we meet again.
