Shari Marcella Sabourin

It is with a deep sense of loss that the family of Shari Marcella Sabourin, 76, of Blue Rocks, shares the news of her passing on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at South Shore Regional Hospital in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, with her family by her side.
Born in London, Ontario, she was the daughter of the late Wesley Barton and Norma Ilene (Hudson) Sabourin.
Shari leaves behind her daughter, Danielle Correia of Bermuda; her dear beloved dog Merlin; close cousins, Richard (wife Tina) and Diane Sabourin, both of Ontario; very close friends Joanne and Al Matheson, Sunnybrook, NS, Pat McGowan and Dennis Carter, Blue Rocks, NS; The Seaside A Cappella Family; her Ukulele Family; good friends from Bermuda MaryLeigh Burnett, Sheila Tasker and Joan Cabral, as well as many cousins and a wide circle of friends.
In keeping with Shari’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, September 19 at 1:00 p.m. at EldererDog Canada, 907 Feltzen South Rd., Rose Bay, NS. Rev. Ian Wissler will be officiating. In honour of Shari, the family asks that bright colors be worn; no dark or black, please. Arrangements entrusted to Personal Care Cremations & Memorial Services.
In place of flowers, the family appreciates donations to the SPCA of Bermuda, Charity Registration #86.
A celebration of life is planned for Saturday, September 26th, 2026.
