A Homegoing service for Shirley Marie Spence, daughter of the late Carl “Bobby” Raynor and the late Hyacinth Jones [nee Spence], loving mother to Sia Spence [Robert “Sai” Emery], sister to the late Lyndon Raynor, the late Calvin Brian “Snookie, Bussie” Jones and Shirlene Simmons [Collin], in her 66th year, of 7 Anchorage Lane, St. George’s will be held at Christ Church Devonshire, Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 3:00 pm. No Interment. Cremation. Lovingly remembered by grandchildren A’Mel Spence [Michael Higgs] and Ze’ Taylor [Orlondo]; aunts Mae Spence [Suhailah Mu-Minah], the late Daphne Gumbs, the late Ursula Smith, the late Ethel Phillips, Prudence Spriggs, Lois Mike, Sharon Mallory; uncles the late Alkana Spence, the late Albert “Stoney” Spence, the late John “Pickles” Spence, the late Ernest Spence, the late Lucas Spence, Junior Raynor, the late Roger Raynor the late Malcolm Raynor; nieces Calvonnae Jones, Jermae’ Paynter-Smith [adopted niece]; nephews Nigel Burgess [Tanecia], Abdul Simmons [Ilethea], Ajani Simmons, Akil Simmons, Calvon Jones; special cousins Annette Ible, Terry-Lynn Doyle, Loretta Spence; godchildren too numerous to mention; friends too numerous to mention. A long-term employee at the Fairmont Southampton [31 years] and Accountant General Payments Department [17 years].
