To know Takisha was to know a soul whose smile shone brightest in any crowd, whose imagination inspired the kid in all of us and whose creativity knew no limits.
With that we are deeply saddened to announce that Takisha Iona Rogers of 66 Sound View Road, Sandys MA04 passed away unexpectedly on Sunday August 13th 2023, at the age of 47 years old and leaves behind her husband, Robert Rogers; children Farah Steede, Rajah [Cole Hill] Satashie and Nazeeh Rogers; step daughter: Yoshia Rogers; grandson: Kato Rogers; special friend: Rashida [Rick] Godwin; mother: Sophie Muhammad; father: Graham [Lucy] Steede; siblings: Oneika Wainwright, Malachi and Takai Muhammad; aunts: Sandra [Stan Gilbert], Sonja Showers, Joni Wainwright; niece and nephew: Miniya and Torrae Wainwright; first cousins: Rio [Scott] and Kairo Morton, Shomari, Sarabi and Airez Gilbert, Kamal Showers, Mailk [Ladrika] Ariana and Jasmine Showers; dearest cousin: Fred Sewell and granddaughter of the late Sophy Wainwright and Alfred Sewell.
Viewing will be held at Augustus Funeral Home on Tuesday, 22nd August, 2023 from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, 23rd August 2023 at 6:00 p.m. Whale Bay Park.
